How many Robin Kents are there?

I know I have a common name. But I feel connected to it since I've had it for soooooo long.
And feel like I own it. All mine. But after looking into my blog neighbors (last post), now I'm wondering how many other Robin Kents are there?

I know there is an artist in Washington D.C. http://photographybykent.com  Fabulous in his own medium. And Robin Kent, a marketing and advertising professional in New York City is probably located the closest to me. Another Robin Kent is a British Architecture and Conversationist, now located in Scotland. http://www.robinkent.com Then there's Dr. Robin Kent. A consultant in the plastics industry. I think most Robin Kents are men.

I wonder what else we have in common. I wonder if they see things the way I do. I wonder if they'd like my art.

I know 5 Robins, you are the 6th! One spells her name Robyn now because there's another Robin in our company who shares HER last name.
I think it's a wonderful name and it would behooove you to get to know the other Robin Kents.

And that's an adorable sculpture. such whimsy -- gives me a giggle even today.

The only Robin Kent I know is you, beautiful artmaking you! I'll not even look at the others! You and your art has me hooked, lined, and sinkered.

I love your "vanity box".....her shape is similar to mine.....chunky and rectangular.....a little mushy in the middle.....You must be a hoot at a party!....

I Googled my name a while back and found a famous Cynthia Myers...the FIRST Playboy Playmate of the Month. 1968. A few days ago my sister called me to tell me that she had died. I also Googled Cindi Myers and there's a mystery writer! And ya know I want to be a published writer! Hmmmm....
maybe I will go by my intials.
as far Robin Kent, I agree with the others, you are the #1 Robin in my book.

Thanks to all. Isn't it interesting to think there are others walking around out there with the same handle. Parallel universes, I suppose. Do wish I could clone myself sometimes to get all that's needed done.

I forgot to say that my sister-in-law and I share the same name.....except she has no "e" at the end.

If you think you've got a common name, try mine! Unfortunately one Amanda White appears to be a bosomy porn star with a lot of activity on the net. So think yourself lucky!
Strangely there is another who is an artist and photographer who seems to be drawn to the same small seaside village that I am when in the UK. We may have passed each other while walking on the beach and taking pictures of the same beach huts! I got in touch with her but didn't seem as excited about the strange coincidence as I was...

Carole- I have an artist friend who has the same name as her mother-in-law. (Not a big stretch). But both are artists. A little confusing to outsiders?
Amanda-that's so funny about the 'boom-boom Amanda', but maybe not to you.
Perhaps the other 'photographer Amanda' is just jealous of your name? Where's their sense of connectedness? We know you're an original.

I'm one of the other Robin Kent's and yes most of us are men. Still it is nice to know that there are others out there.

I'm the plastics consultant (not the advertising one or the surfer dude) although I would maybe rather my life had turned out that I could surf for a living.

I actually saw your name quite a bit but never actually looked at your art. I have now looked at your blog and I really like it. I am a bit of an Impressionist fan - I was in Chicago recently and went to the Art Institute. There was one room with so many Monet's in it that it was almost an emotional experience. I had to sit down before I fell down.

You have a lovely sense of the absurd and a really good feel for colour (note the English, i.e. correct spelling). Some of your work is reminiscent of Beryl Cook (a UK artist) and Iloved her work back in the 1980's before she became fashionable. I should have bought some as she is now really valuable but back then she was only for the fans of the 'naif' style.

Still keep up the good work and as I will be in Vermont for a week next year I will get to see if your vision is the same as mine.

PS: My mum thought I was the best Robin Kent in the world too!

Hi Robin .... I googled my name once ... just my maiden name. Was really surprised [and envious] to find another Carol Westfall out there who was an artist! O why why why did I stop painting and creating! Well, I still do, but not that much. More into photography now.

Looking forward to getting my newly created Mary & Joseph from you this week. Carol

Well, this Robyn likes your work and this piece in particular is charming. I've found quite a few Robyn Gordons and most of them are artists.
