No Pot Roast Around Thanksgiving

Woman at Rest Box
©robin r kent
Well, Thanksgiving didn't turn out as planned. While taking a pot roast out of the freezer, my mother was subject to the laws of gravity and keeled over backwards. The pot roast was for the next night's dinner and needed time to thaw. As my sister-in-law stated, 'They say red meat can be harmful to your health.'
Will be back in touch as soon as I change from nursing cap to blogger/artist apron. Here's wishing a Merry holiday season and better New Year to you all, spoken a might early.

Oh Robin, I sorry to hear about your mom! I hope she'll mend quickly. Obviously frozen meat can be harmful to one's health as well!
Hugs to you and warm wishes for a merry month of December. I hope the nurse's hat doesn't stay on too long and we'll hear from you before the New Year! xo

"jack the skater" reminds me that I broke my leg iceskating on Christmas eve about 12 years ago. I was not doing anything as fancy as he is.

Thanks Carole and Sand! Glad to get this brief blog up. There go my timely posts for now... Gotta watch that first step, Sand: whether gliding on ice or catching a pot roast football overhead.

...P.S. There's something vaguely similiar with the 'Resting Box' image and my mother's bed hair...
