Folk art or fine art, any image is a combination of shapes. They give structure to my assemblage, sculptural and painterly works. I watch and listen as they converse with each other through volume, position, color, and form. Those are my guides for creating cohesive art.

Robin, thank you so much for showing the pre and post makeup chicken! I've always wondered how your creations are constructed. Now I have a better understanding. Your chicken looks pretty proud of her egg and her striped stockings! July has flown by here too.
Thanks Carole. Hope you're able to leave comments without having to go through the eye test. Did I make it easier or is it still there? The egg is a ping pong ball (comes pre-made!) I'll show more before and afters as posts in the future.
There is no eye test involved in leaving comments here! Yay....I hate doing those things so much that I've cut down on leaving comments!
Thanks Carole. Glad to know I did something on the computer correctly. (That does NOT come naturally or easily to me.)
Oh! I love this, seeing what's going on behind the scenes. :D
I love Dog with a Bone too!
Glad to see that you figured out the comment thing.
My new wish would be that I was able to email you through your comments to my blog but I get a "no reply" instead of an email address. Sigh...
Oh well, at least I can talk to you here! :)
Love, love your quirky chicken! Doubly so because I'm the sort of person who has trouble knocking a nail into a wall.
And sooo glad it's not just me who wonders about their eyesight (or even eye-brain coordination) when I am "proving I'm not a robot"!
Anon/(Sand?), I'm not good with computer technical stuff, so no good word press suggestions to offer...
That chicken looks smart enough to drive the tractor. Word press?
Guess that anonymous post (that I didn't publish) wasn't from you...without the filters I'll have to be very-very careful! (I'll consult the chicken...)
